ABC News reporter Alex Stone has been a part of a deep dive the station is taking into gun violence in America.
Alex's focus was on Fresno, where he had the opportunity to go on a ride along with the police there and got a front row seat to a call they took about a murder victim.
He was there when the officers arrived on scene and tried to perform CPR on the victim, but were unfortunately unsuccessful.
Beyond his ride along, Alex also met with those in charge with a program to reduce the gun violence called Advance Peace in which ex-gang members befriend current gang members to get them to stop shooting.
