VENICE (CNS) - Authorities today identified a young man who was killed in a vehicle-to-vehicle shooting in the Venice area by an assailant who remains at large.
Lucas Zamora, 20, of Fresno was shot about 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Brooks and Pacific avenues, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The wounded man drove a short distance away and crashed, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the Los Angeles County coroner's office reported.
No arrests have been reported, and no description of the suspect or the suspect's vehicle was released. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call 877-LAPD-247.
