PLACENTIA (CNS) - A man suffered serious injuries when he was stabbed inside a residence in Placentia, and a suspect was on the loose, police said.

Officers responded at 5:49 p.m. Thursday to a reported stabbing in the 800 block of West Chapman Avenue and found a man bleeding from the neck, said Lt. Adam Gloe of the Placentia Police Department.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, Gloe said.

The suspect fled and has not been located. No further information was available.
