INGLEWOOD (CNS) - The Foo Fighters have rescheduled a show at The Forum -- originally scheduled for July 17 but postponed when a member of the band's organization tested positive for COVID-19 -- for Thursday, Aug. 26.

The band announced the new date on Twitter on Monday.

Tickets for the July 17 show will be honored on the new date, the band said.

Spectators will need to abide by coronavirus precautions in order to attend, according to a post by Ticketmaster that accompanied the band's announcement.

“By purchasing tickets for this event, I confirm that at the time of the event I will either have been fully vaccinated, or will have received a negative Covid-19 test within 72 hours of the event,'' the post said.

“I further understand and confirm the venue may require guests to wear a mask for the duration of the event. Please note these confirmations will apply to all members of your party before they are allowed to enter the event and to any users of the tickets purchased by you.''

The band announced the postponement on July 14.

“Despite having made every effort to follow CDC COVID protocols and local laws, there has been a confirmed COVID-19 case within the Foo Fighters organization,'' the band tweeted at the time.

The tweet did not specify if the diagnosis was for a member of the band or the band's staff.

The show was postponed out of an abundance of caution and “concern for the safety of the band, crew and most of all the fans,'' according to the band's Twitter post.
