Man in Critical Condition After Stabbing in Garden Grove

GARDEN GROVE (CNS)- A man is in critical condition in Garden Grove this morning after allegedly being stabbed by a man he met on an online dating site.  

Garden Grove police responded to a call at 5:41 p.m. Friday to the 9700 block of Garden Grove Boulevard and found the 54-year-old victim, who suffered multiple stab wounds, said Garden Grove Sgt. Mark Lord.  

The victim told police that a man he met online, Angel Andrew Nixon - Ramirez, 31, had visited him at his home and attacked him for unknown reasons, Lord said.  

Police arrested Nixon -Ramirez, 31 -- who Lord said admitted to his involvement in the stabbing -- for attempted murder later that night and booked him in Orange County Jail.  

The victim, whose name is being withheld, was taken to a local hospital.
