SANTA ANA (CNS) - Police in Santa Ana discovered a man shot dead, authorities said today.
Officers located the victim in response to a report of a man down at around 10:25 p.m. Friday in the 1300 block of West Fifth Street, the Santa Ana Police Department reported.
The man had suffered an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. Arriving paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
