LYNWOOD (CNS) - Two people were arrested today during a driving under the influence checkpoint in Lynwood.
In addition to the DUI arrests, six drivers were arrested or cited for operating a vehicle unlicensed or with a suspended or revoked license and one was arrested or cited for knowingly allowing an unlicensed driver to drive their car, said Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Morgan Arteaga.
The checkpoint was conducted by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and was held at Imperial Highway and Jackson Avenue from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. beginning Friday.
