Fires Burning Two Vehicles in South Los Angeles Knocked Down

LOS ANGELES (CNS)- Fires burning two vehicles in South Los Angeles were extinguished in 17 minutes by 36 firefighters, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported today.

Firefighters responded at 11:28 p.m. Tuesday to 835 W. 77th St., near Hoover Street, said Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fires caused only minor exterior heat exposure to one garage and one small shed sustained at least moderate fire damage, Prange said.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
