U.S. Postal Service: Dog Attacks Were a Big Problem in 2020

A not so fun report from the U.S. Postal Service has rolled in and shows that almost 6,000 letter carriers were attacked by dogs last year.

In a statement, the U.S. Postal Service said:

"From nips and bites to vicious attacks, aggressive dog behavior poses a serious threat to postal employees and the general public."

Houston topped the list of cities with the most dog attacks followed by Chicago, Los Angeles, Cleveland, and Denver.

As for overall dog attacks by state, California took the top slot in with 782.
