Looks like the Kids ARE Alright.
A survey commissioned by Draper Tools found that 8 out of 10 young people think gardening is cool and half would rather visit a gardening center than a nightclub.
Further, two thirds said they LOVE shopping for plants, seeds and gardening tools.While you might assume tending to plants and flowers is more of an older person thing, folks of all ages are discovering the calming activity.
What houseplants are the kids most into? Cacti, orchids and aloe vera.
