KFI's Steve Gregory had an in-depth interview with LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva who called out Bonin, Gascon and Garcetti on the issues of crime and homelessness.
Sheriff Villanueva is done being nice and echoed lots of what we have been saying for years. Hack politicians and their bad leadership have brought on deadly consequences which his department has to deal with. He is also looking at processing more CCW permits. This Sheriff gets it !
"All huge numbers, all very, very troublesome," he continued. As he started his next thought, he noted: "We have less cops on the street, more crooks, less consequences – you know, what could go wrong with that combination, right?"
The LASD recently increased its capacity to process permits for carrying a concealed weapon, or CCW, Villanueva said.
"We’re recognizing that the threat to the residents is increasing, so we’re responding accordingly," he continued.
