ANAHEIM (CNS) - A man was killed in a home in Anaheim today in what police called an apparent gang-related shooting.
Police were called about 11 a.m. to the 600 block of South Olive Street, near Colony Park and Santa Ana Street, regarding shots fired, Anaheim Police Department Sgt. Shane Carringer said.
As officers arrived they saw a man running away, Carringer said. The man barricaded himself in a house in the 800 block of South Olive Street, but was taken into custody with the help of a police dog, Carringer said.
It is unclear if the man was involved in the shooting, Carringer said.
Police have not confirmed the name of the victim, Carringer said.
