SANTA ANA (CNS) - A 34-year-old was behind bars today on charges of secretly taking a video of a 15-year-old family member while she was showering in Santa Ana.
Julio Cesar Resendizfigueroa was charged Tuesday with using an underage person for obscene matter and possession or control of child pornography, both felonies, as well as misdemeanor counts of using a concealed recording device to record another without their consent and possession of a controlled substance.
Resendizfigueroa was scheduled to be arraigned June 10 in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana.
The victim's mother discovered the video of the girl on the defendant's phone while he was sleeping Saturday, according to Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna. The mother called 911 right away and the defendant was arrested, Bertagna said.
Police also found methamphetamine on the defendant's property, Bertagna alleged.
