Man, 69, Diagnosed With Schizophrenia, Diabetes, Missing

LYNWOOD (CNS) - A 69-year-old man diagnosed with schizophrenia, prostate cancer, diabetes, chronic kidney disease and cardiomyopathy was reported missing this morning after last being seen in Lynwood.

Nicolas Gallegos was last seen about 3:50 p.m. Sunday in the 3600 block of Imperial Highway, west of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, according to Deputy Morgan Arteaga of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.

Gallegos is Hispanic, 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweater, dark blue sweatpants and black and white Adidas sandals, Arteaga said.

Anyone with information about Gallegos' whereabouts was asked to call the sheriff's Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500.
