In her first interview since announcing her run for California Governor, Caitlyn Jenner talks with Fox News' Sean Hannity. Jenner talks about her bid to unseat Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom in the upcoming recall.
Jenner told Hannity on Wednesday
that it was "not an easy decision" for her to enter the race
"I want to take that same fight, that same spirit, go to Sacramento, surround myself with some of the smartest people out there,"
"I am an outsider. I understand that- smartest people out there because now I'm in a race for solutions. I need to find solutions to be able to turn this state around. I absolutely love this state. I'm a fighter. Always have been."
Jenner listed policy points on her website
- Oppose California's sanctuary state status and work with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to remove undocumented immigrants
- Lift all COVID-19 restrictions, effective immediately
- Support controlled burns for forest management
- Terminate the long-proposed high-speed rail system
