Thousands of Houston residents were late to work Wednesday morning after a loose cow decided to take a stroll along Interstate 10.
- The cow was first spotted on the freeway at about 8 a.m., and continued weaving in and out of stop-and-go traffic for a half hour before sheriff's deputies managed to wrangle it. The cow has now been returned to its owner, according to sheriff's deputies.
- Although a serious accident occurred near the spot where the cow was first spotted, it's unclear whether the bovine caused it.
