Amazon will soon let customers at some Whole Foods stores pay with a simple wave of their hands.
The company announced it is bringing palm scanners to several Seattle-area stores over the next few months where customers can hold their hands above the scanner for a contact-free payment method.
To use the service, named Amazon One, customers will give Whole Foods their credit or debit information to link their palm print.
Amazon says it has already released the scanners at some Amazon Go Grocery stores and so far so good.
