Average L.A. County Gas Price Increases For 11th Time in 12 Days

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the 11th time in 12 days, increasing four-tenths of a cent to $4.024, its highest amount since Nov. 15, 2019.

The average price has risen 5.2 cents over the past 12 days, including two-tenths of a cent Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 4.3 cents more than one week ago, 9.8 cents higher than one month ago and $1.143 greater than one year ago.

The Orange County average price increased for the ninth straight day, inching up one-tenth of a cent to $3.994, its highest level since Nov. 13, 2019.

It has risen 4.4 cents over the past nine days, including eight-tenths of a cent on Tuesday. The Orange County average price is 4.1 cents more than one week ago, 8.8 cents higher than one month ago and $1.142 greater than one year ago.
