Man, Woman Injured in Garden Grove Stabbing, Suspect in Custody

GARDEN GROVE (CNS) - A man and woman were stabbed this morning in Garden Grove and a second man was injured and later arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Officers responded about 2:10 a.m. to a home in the 12400 block of Jerome Avenue and found a man and woman in the front yard with stab wounds to their back and arms, according to Sgt. Jeff Hutchins of the Garden Grove Police Department.

The two victims were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Hutchins said.

Another man was found near the front of the residence with injuries to his head sustained from being hit with a baseball bat, Hutchins said.

He was treated at the scene and then arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, Hutchins said.

The names of the victims and suspect were not disclosed.
