LAFD Releases Video, Images of Woman Seen in Vicinity of Koreatown Fire

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The Los Angeles Fire Department today circulated surveillance video and images of a woman who may be connected to a fire that caused damage to a Koreatown restaurant's outdoor eating area.

The blaze broke about midnight on April 2 in the 900 block of South Vermont Avenue and damaged a nearby eatery's outdoor canopy before being extinguished, according to the LAFD.

Investigators released video and images of a woman walking near the canopy on the night of the fire and deemed her a “person of interest'' in the case.

Anyone with information regarding the woman's identity or whereabouts or the fire is asked to contact the LAFD Arson/Counter-Terrorism Section at 213-893-9850.
