COVINA (CNS) - One person was shot and another stabbed this morning in Covina, and police were trying to determine who committed the attacks.
The attacks in the 100 block of Orange Avenue were reported at 5:22a.m., Covina police said.
Responding officers found one person shot in the forearm and the second person cut with a knife, police said. Both people were treated at the scene by paramedics and then transported to a hospital for treatment. A gun and a knife were recovered at the scene, police said.
It was not clear how the attacks happened. There was no word yet as to the gender or ages of the victims.
