Lilly Bumpus is from San Bernardino. She is 8 years old. She was born with cancer and has been cancer free for seven years. Pretty good!
Now, she holds the record for most boxes of Girl Scout cookies sold in a single season. 5,000 of those boxes are being donated to fellow childhood cancer patients and deployed troops. The record breaking total: 32,484 boxes of Thin Mints, Samoas, Do-si-dos and the rest.
According to Lillyâs mom, she told Lilly it would be difficult to sell cookies this season, and Lilly doesnât like being told things are not possible. Looks like Lilly proved mom wrong.
