Delta to Resume Selling Middle Seats May 1st

As COVID cases continue to rise all over the world, Delta Airlines has announced it will start selling tickets for middle seats again on May 1st. The move ends coronavirus safety precautions on U.S. planes as Delta was the last one with mandates in place.

Delta CEO Ed Bastian says the decision was made because “more people are getting vaccinated against the coronavirus.”

Delta will also be bringing back their in-flight snacks on April 14! And if you fly Delta One or in their first class cabins, you can expect to see hot meals making a return on some transcontinental flights in early June.

Would you feel safe on a plane right now, regardless of whether the middle seat was occupied?
