Disney Testing Facial Recognition Tech For Park Entry

Disney World is taking high-tech to a whole new level as it tests out facial recognition technology for park access.

If guests choose to opt-in, their face will be converted into a number which will then be associated with their MagicBand or whatever type of admission ticket they are using.

All of this to streamline the park-going experience and integrate more touch-free features.

Guests are required to keep their masks on but will have to take off their hats, visors, and sunglasses for the test which is set to run through April.

Disney said that all images will only be stored for 30 days.
