The Biden family dogs, Major and Champ, are back at the White House after being sent away for a brief time-out.
- Earlier this month, Major had a 'biting incident' that injured a member of Biden's security team. Afterwards, both German Shepherds were sent back to the Biden family home in Delaware.
- Major is a rescue dog that was adopted by the Bidens in 2018. Champ has been part of the family since 2008.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the dogs also spent a weekend with the Bidens at Camp David:
“The dogs will come and go and it is not uncommon for them to be back in Delaware, where the president and first lady often go.”
