Average L.A. County Gas Price Rises For 39th Consecutive Day  

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the 39th consecutive day and 59th time in 60 days, increasing a half-cent to $3.927, its highest amount since Nov. 22, 2019.  

The average price has increased 57.9 cents in the past 60 days, including three-tenths of a cent on Friday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 4.7 cents more than one week ago, 30.6 cents higher than one month ago and 60.2 cents greater than one year ago.  

A 39-day streak of increases to the Orange County average price ended with a decrease of two-tenths of a cent to $3.903. It rose 41 cents during the streak to its highest amount since Nov. 20, 2019.  

The Orange County average price is 3.4 cents more than one week ago, 29.1 cents higher than one month ago and 63.1 cents greater than one year ago.
