California University to Pay Students to Not Travel for Spring Break

A California university is so set on discouraging students from traveling for spring break during COVID-19 pandemic, they're willing to pay them.

As part of a city-campus partnership, UC Davis students could get a $75 Spring Break Grant if they agree to stay in town and not travel during the school's spring break from March 22nd to the 25th.

If a student is interested in getting the money, they have to submit a proposal and formal application to be considered for the Spring Break Grants.

The link to apply is only through the student's UC Davis Google account.
