PANORAMA CITY (CNS) - A fire broke out this afternoon at a condominium in Panorama City and quickly spread to an adjacent apartment building, but no one was injured.
Fire was showing on the second floor of the two-story condo building at 8839 N. Cedros Ave. about 2:50 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The blaze soon spread to the adjacent apartment building at 8849 N. Cedros, where LAFD reported fire in two units and the attic at one point.
It took 96 firefighters more than an hour to extinguish both burns, and crews remained on scene past 4 p.m. assessing damages and checking for hot spots, the department said.
No injuries were reported.
There was no immediate word on the cause of the fire.
