Automaker Volvo Cars has announced plans to sell only electric vehicles by the year 2030.
- This comes with the launch of the new C40 Recharge, which has been designed as a battery-electric only vehicle.
- Volvo will be joining both Ford and General Motors on the pledge to go all-electric.
- Ford planning to make the move in Europe by 2030 and General Motors doing so in 2035.
