SAN PEDRO (CNS) - Authorities today identified a man and a woman who were found dead at the base of a cliff near Point Fermin Park in San Pedro.
The bodies were discovered about 5:20 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of West Paseo Del Mar, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The pair were identified by the coroner's office as Brandon Escobar, 23 of San Pedro, and Rayana Valdez, 21, of Covina. Autopsies were pending to determine their cause of death.
Officer Mike Lopez with the Los Angeles Police Department said their bodies were found on rocks near the shoreline.
