SUNLAND (CNS) - Police pursued a suspected car thief for 13 seconds before the car crashed and overturned on a Sunland street this morning.
The pursuit began and ended at 12:52 a.m. in the 7800 block of Foothill Boulevard, according to a dispatcher at the Los Angeles Police Department's Operations Center.
The silver sedan struck a curb and a wall and overturned, according to a news videographer at the scene. Officers freed the injured suspect from the vehicle and paramedics took him to a hospital.
The suspect was described as a male by the videographer. His age, name and condition were not immediately available.
