ANAHEIM (CNS) - A 17-year-old Anaheim boy is being in Juvenile Hall on suspicion of the fatal shooting of another teen, police announced today.

Abraham Briones, 17, of Anaheim was shot in an apartment in the 3000 block of East Jackson Avenue just before 6 p.m. on Feb. 5, according to Anaheim police Sgt. Shane Carringer.

Police arrested the suspect, whose name was withheld because he's a juvenile, last Thursday and booked him on suspicion of murder, Carringer said.

It was not immediately clear if he has been charged as a juvenile or an adult.

Police would not release details of the relationship between the suspect and victim or what motivated the shooting.
