A North Texas nurse didn't let a deadly 100-vehicle pileup stop her from getting to work.
- Rebecca Benson was headed to her hospital job when icy roads led to the massive pile-up Thursday in Fort Worth that killed six people.
- Benson said her car spun out and landed between two semi's and other vehicles just kept smashing in all directions.
- She described the scene "like a zombie movie."
- While pinned in her car, someone opened her trunk to ask if she was ok -- that gave her a path to crawl out.
- She then asked police if she could ditch her car, hop a barrier, and get a ride with a coworker who happened to be nearby.
- Sure enough, she made it to work a half-shift.
- Benson says she has lots of bumps and bruises but is "unbelievably blessed."
