MORENO VALLEY (CNS) - A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle this morning on the eastbound Moreno Valley (60) Freeway in Moreno Valley, prompting the closure of four lanes of the freeway for nearly two hours.
The crash was reported about 4:35 a.m. near the Frederick Street exit, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Details of what led to the crash were not immediately available.
The Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4 lanes were blocked until about 6:25 a.m., when all lanes were reopened, Caltrans said.
The age, gender and name of the victim were not disclosed.
