DUARTE (CNS) - An investigation was underway this morning into the stabbing death of a man in a residential neighborhood in Duarte.
About 8:45 p.m. Thursday, deputies from the Temple Station received information from a hospital that a man was admitted to the emergency room suffering from multiple stab wounds to his upper body and later died of his injuries, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
A preliminary investigation led detectives to the 2500 block of Millbrae Avenue, near Central Avenue, where they searched Friday for evidence, video surveillance or witnesses, the department said.
The motive for the stabbing and a description of any suspect were not immediately available.
The man's age and name were not disclosed.
