Southland Gas Prices Still Rising

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the 10th consecutive day and 15th time in the past 16 days, increasing one cent to $3.298, its highest amount since March 21.

It is 5.9 cents more than one week ago and 14.3 cents higher than one month ago, but 30.8 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The Orange County average price rose for the seventh consecutive day to its highest amount since March 20, increasing four-tenths of a cent to $3.272.

The Orange County average price is 5.4 cents more than one week ago and 14.2 cents higher than a month ago, but 28.3 cents less than one year ago.
