A flock of chickens took a New Jersey McDonald's under siege as they "wreaked havoc" on drive-thru customers.
The incident happened earlier this week near Warren County and the Washington Township Police Department and an Animal Control Officer named Robbie were called in to help reign in the chickens.
According to reports, the birds were chasing customers and pecking at car tires, but as the department posted on its Facebook page the motives are unknown.
"We cannot confirm at this time if they were targeting specific customers (with chicken nuggets and sandwiches in hand) or random customers."
Robbie was able to wrangle the birds and took them "into custody".
They were later brought to a nearby animal shelter and thankfully the owner was found.
