Average L.A. County Gas Price Rises To Highest Amount Since March 23

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today to its highest amount since March 23, increasing 1.3 cents to $3.257.

The average price has risen 10 of the past 11 days, increasing 4.5 cents, including a half-cent on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 2.5 cents more than one week ago, 10.4 cents higher than one month ago but 34.6 cents less than one year ago,

The Orange County average price rose to its highest amount since March 21, increasing 1.8 cents to $3.241. It is 3.3 cents more than one week ago and 11.3 cents higher than a month ago but 29.5 cents less than one year ago.
