Positive COVID-19 Tests Prompt Temporary Closure of Nate 'n Al's

BEVERLY HILLS (CNS) - The beloved Beverly Hills delicatessen Nate 'n Al's announced today it will close for a week due to several of its employees testing positive for COVID-19 over the weekend.

“For the safety of our staff and guests, we felt it best to close temporarily,'' according to a statement issued on social media. “We are taking every necessary precaution, and after testing all of our employees, we will safely re-open on Tuesday, Jan. 12th.

“We look forward to serving you again soon!''

The statement did not disclose how many employees tested positive.

The deli opened in 1945. It has been owned by longtime customer Shelli Azoff since 2019.
