Vehicles Stop Traffic in Freeway Takeover in Anaheim

ANAHEIM (CNS) - One person was taken into custody this morning after hundreds of vehicles stopped on the southbound Orange (57) Freeway in Anaheim and began performing stunts and people got out of the vehicles and set off fireworks.

California Highway Patrol officers responded around midnight to a stretch of the freeway near the Katella Avenue exit and the crowd and vehicles quickly began to leave the area.

Video from the scene showed several people walking alongside the freeway and others who jumped the center divider and ran across the northbound lanes of the freeway when officers arrived. No injuries were immediately reported.
