LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose three-tenths of a cent today to $3.154 one day after increasing four-tenths of a cent.
The average price is two-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and six-tenths of a cent higher than one month ago but 51.6 cents less than a year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped 46.1 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $3.133, one day after dropping three-tenths of a cent. It is a half-cent more than one week ago and 2 cents higher than one month ago but 45.6 cents less than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped 41.2 cents since the start of the year.
