Walmart Pulls Firearms from Shelves Until Election is Over

Walmart has announced they're pulling all guns and ammo from their shelves until the upcoming election is over.

A statement released by the retail giant says:

"We have seen some isolated civil unrest and as we have done on several occasions over the last few years, we have moved our firearms and ammunition off the sales floor as a precaution for the safety of our associates and customers. These items do remain available for purchase by customers."

The is the second time this year Walmart has removed firearms from its shelves.

The first time was back in June, following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
