Little Change to Average Southland Gas Prices

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped three-tenths of a cent today to $3.181, one day after decreasing two-tenths of a cent.

The average price has dropped 11 of the past 13 days, decreasing 1.9 cents, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 1.2 cents less than one week ago, 3.8 cents lower than one month ago and 99.3 cents cheaper than one year ago. It has decreased 43.4 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price dropped two-tenths of a cent to $3.147, one day after remaining unchanged. It is 1.1 cents less than one week ago, 4.2 cents lower than one month ago and 98.9 cents cheaper than one year ago. It has decreased 39.8 cents since the start of the year.
