Our first #TerrorInTheSkies story today is a new one for us. Sunday night an American Airlines pilot reported seeing a man wearing a jetpack, flying above LAX. The back and forth between the pilot and the control tower went a little something like this:
Pilot: "Tower, American 1997, we just passed a guy in a jetpack."
Tower: "American 1997, OK, thank you. Were they off to your left or right side?"
Pilot: "Off the left side, maybe 300 yards or so, about our altitude."
The jetpack man was flying as high as 3,000 feet, and the odd incident is under investigation. You can click here to read the full story at KFI News!
Our next #TerrorInTheSkies story comes to us from La Guardia Airport, where two women brawled before boarding their flight to Atlanta. Stunned passengers looked on as the two women fought on the floor of the jetway. Passenger Destiny Davis, who caught the fight on video, told The New York Post:
“Once they started to fight, there was little intervention and the police took a while to show up to our gate. They led them out in a peaceful manner but the plane was delayed by almost 30-40 minutes and we had to wait for them to find the luggage of the two passengers before leaving.”
Flying is already hard enough folks, and it's even harder and more annoying with Coronavirus thrown on top. Please be nice to one another, and keep your jetpack flights away from airports!
Have a nice day!
