LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped one-tenth of a cent today to $3.223, one day after increasing four-tenths of a cent to its highest amount since March 24.
The average price is 1.6 cents more than a week ago and 4.5 cents higher than one month ago but 40.8 cents less than one year ago. It has decreased 39.2 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $3.205,its highest amount since March 23. It has increased five of the past six days, rising 1.4 cents, including four-tenths of a cent on Sunday.
The Orange County average price is 1.1 cents more than one week agoand 3.7 cents higher than one month ago but 40.4 cents less than one year ago. It has decreased 34 cents since the start of the year.
