Police Arrest Man Allegedly Armed With Shotgun at Inglewood Gas Station

INGLEWOOD (CNS) - Officers today fired at a man armed with a shotgun who allegedly appeared to be pointing his weapon at an occupied vehicle in the driveway of a gas station in Inglewood.

No one was injured and the armed suspect was subsequently taken into custody, the Inglewood Police Department reported.

Officers responding a little after 4 a.m. to a radio call in the area of USA Gas Station, 4130 W. Century Blvd., saw the man pointing the shotgun at a vehicle and ordered him to drop the weapon, police said.

When he did not comply, officers fired shots at him.
