Kellyanne Conway Announces She's Leaving The White House

Longtime White House adviser Kellyanne Conway announced she is calling it quits to spend more time with her family.

Conway had become one of the president's most loyal defenders and was also formerly Trump's campaign manager.

She is still expected to speak at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday as previously scheduled.

Her husband, George Conway, who co-founded the anti-Trump organization the Lincoln Project, also announced on Sunday that he's also leaving the group to devote more time to family.

This news comes on the heels of reports of the couple's 15-year-old daughter, Claudia, pushing for emancipation over what she says was "years of childhood trauma and abuse."
