@DarkSecretPlace - Green Beret Charged with Being a Russian Spy

Peter Rafael Dzibinski Debbins, Alexandria, VA Sheriff's Office

Peter Rafael Dzibinski Debbins, a former Army Green Beret, was arrested on Friday, and charged with divulging military secrets to Russian intelligence between 1996 and 2011.

Debbins, 45, of Virginia, considered himself a "son of Russia," and, according to prosecutors, "thought that the United States was too dominant in the world and needed to be cut down to size."

The espionage began when Debbins was an ROTC student at the University of Minnesota, and continued for 15 years. After signing a statement, swearing allegiance to Russia, Debbins was given a code name by Russian intel: Ikar Lesnikov.

Debbins' first court appearance will be Monday. On Dark Secret Place, Bryan Suits was joined by Special Forces insider, "Baghdad Dave," to discuss the explosive news.
