The FDA has approved what's being called "the world's first fully transparent surgical mask."
The face covering, manufactured by ClearMask LLC, has been given a surgical grade approval, meaning it's good enough for medical professionals to wear during surgery.
The transparent, anti-fogging masks are also helpful for those who are hearing impaired and for conversations between people who don’t speak the same language.
The masks, which can be purchased through ClearMask's website, are priced at $87 for a box of 24 and a non-surgical grade version is available for $67 a box.
