- Dane Cook will ALL appear in an upcoming LIVE event table read of the iconic hit 1982 film 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High'. This star-studded event will stream LIVE on the Facebook and TikTok accounts of Penn's organization CORE and LiveXLive’s platform, app and social channels on August 21 at 8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. PST.
BENEFIT CORE
The “Feelin’ A-Live” event will benefit CORE — a humanitarian organization co-founded by Penn and Ann Lee that is on the front-lines of the fight against COVID-19 providing testing and relief services in the United States — and the REFORM Alliance, which is focused on passing laws to reform the criminal justice system and protecting the incarcerated population from the spread of coronavirus.
- The live-stream will feature a “donate” button on-screen and all proceeds will benefit CORE and REFORM Alliance.
This was all the mastermind of comedian and actor Dane Cook who reached out to Sean Penn first. You had to get Jeff Spicoli on-board. Interestingly enough...Penn will NOT play Spicoli. Some viewers think it will be Brad Pitt or Matthew McConaughney.
Fast Times screenwriter, Cameron Crowe, and director Amy Heckerling are expected to make the introductions.
